The latest...

OK, here is the latest. I made the boys web conference with me on Friday night and we all agreed we are going to stay put in my apartment until the summer. They need to decide if they can stand going to Senn HS down the street or we can move to Evanston. Either way, we will all decide together what to do AFTER they get here. Apparently the boys agree that living in the city is way cooler then living in Naperville. I am going to buy a car and the boys will have to get their licenses. The deal with that is, I pay for the car, they pay the additional insurance. I think they get how cool it is to live in the city, how expensive it is to move, and they get that I cannot do ANY lifting so they would have to do all the moving. They are due to arrive home March 10 (ish) and I cannot wait.

Yes, he did it again

Yes, he did it again and NO, the boys are not coming home this weekend. From what I have been able to figure out from the various manifestos I have been sent, it is looking like Mid March(ish). Below is a quote from one of his last emails. I guess he figured out my master plan.....oh well.

OH and yes, I had a medical situation that required surgery (breast reduction ---any one-- reduced under the guise of stage one lymphoma maybe??).

ALLEGEDLY!!

Allegedly, the boys are coming home this weekend. Cliff refuses to share the details such as date, time, place, airport, flight....details.

As it stands, he sent another scathing email to all of us saying this was all my fault. My response was, "If we had discussed this months ago when you first got your orders," and, "again, date? time? airport?" I don't expect a response, but it would be nice to know where and when to claim my kids.

My appointment with the Oncologist last week was yet another surprise. Apparently, and therefore allegedly, they are awaiting the results of genetic testing to make a FINAL (yeah, that word again) determination of whether or not I need chemo. So, again, I am not holding my breath or crossing my fingers, but I am apparently now shopping for furniture so the boys won't be sleeping on the floor.

The saga continues.....

Well, aside from the fact that the JAG officer on base insists on calling me ma'am, it seems I have managed to spark a fire under someone's ass. Speaking of asses, not a word from the dark side, but it seems the Navy is no longer willing to take him at his word? OR, they do NOT want to be held responsible/liable for the kids remaining on the base. I attached a copy of the order the judge already said he would likely sign on March 16, which allows Ian to stay until the end of the semester IF he is living WITH someone and then the day after school lets out, his ass needs to be on a plane to Chicago. We shall see.

As to the whole BC issue, I saw the plastic surgeon yesterday who agreed they were healing beautifully and aside from the fact that the nips look like the cat chewed on them, everything is going great. I then saw the oncologist who said they were waiting on DNA/genetic testing to make the final determination of whether or not I get chemo (yes, that is still on the table - think diet plan!), radiation (a for sure), and or hormone therapy. It seems that modern science has made cancer treatment a fine art. Not complaining and the longer the put it off, the longer I get to keep my hair!.....LOL

BTW, I promised myself I would run a marathon before I turned 50 and it will be 47 this year. So, I am starting off with just a few 5k's. Start small, aim high, think big!

Play ball!!

Ok, while the judge was a little displeased at the defects on the face of my pleadings, he agreed that they were not fatal and I left the court house with an order granting me temporary custody of both boys and telling Cliff to have Michael in Chicago no later then Feb. 23, 2009. We shall see what happens. I am hoping for the best and not holding my breath.

I see the plastic surgeon on Thursday to get cleared for radiation and then see the radiologist after that. I just received a bill for $800 for genetic testing (?) and didn't get around to calling them to find out what that is all about.

OH YES HE DID!

Ok, walked away from the smoking ledge to save the nips, but did not spend the weekend completely sober.

The latest update is that the brilliant plan du jour is to leave the boys "home alone" in their apartment in Japan while Cliff transfers to Gitmo and have friends "look in on them."

I want some of what he is on because his reality will never happen. When will that idiot learn to stop poking the injured momma bear with a sharp stick as he tries to take her cubs????

The crying part is over, now I go all rambo on his ass!
